Patients receiving sedation or anesthesia must bring their own responsible adult companion. JJ Care Transportation provides transportation only. Our drivers do not act as companions, caregivers, or responsible adults.
We recommend confirming the medical facility's discharge requirements before booking, so your companion is prepared to receive instructions and take responsibility after your procedure.

The patient's responsible adult companion must:
JJ Care Transportation will transport both the patient and their companion. Please make sure your companion is able to meet every requirement listed before scheduling.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Travel with the patient to and from the facility
- Remain available during the procedure
- Receive discharge instructions
- Take responsibility for the patient after discharge
- Stay with the patient afterward when required by the facility
